In 1931 Ray Tauscher was the only motorcycle racer to hold four international titles in Australia, England, and France. In 2020 Ned Thanhouser and son Michael researched Ray’s racing career, located surviving family members and collected Ray’s scrapbooks, photo albums, and racing memorabilia. This 17-minute documentary film tells the story of Ray’s racing career, his world-wide travels, and his loves.

The weekly syndicated show can be viewed on the weekends in the United States on over 173 broadcast affiliates in over 95% of the U.S. and over 100 million TV homes. I was hired as a cinematographer while the crew filmed an episode in central Wyoming.

Fences For Fido improves the quality of life for dogs living outdoors by building fences free of charge for families who keep their dogs on chains, tethers, and in small enclosures. I produced two videos for them for their fundraising efforts.

From its founding in 1909 through 1917, Thanhouser Company, and its successor company, Mutual's Thanhouser Film Corporation, produced and released over 1,000 silent films to worldwide distribution.
